Terms and conditions

In short: Clozo is free and translates the captions of your Google Meet calls for 15 minutes every day. Pro costs €6.99 a month or €59 a year and includes 50 hours of translation a month plus transcript export. You don't need an account, can cancel at any time and get your money back within 14 days. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time, effective at the end of the month. After its first year, you can cancel a yearly plan at any time with one month's notice and get the rest of the year back pro rata. Within 14 days of buying, you get your money back, no reason needed. The text below is what counts.

1. Scope and provider

(1) These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Clozo browser extension and to all contracts for the Pro plan that you conclude on clozo.app or in the extension.

(2) The provider and your contractual partner is Hannes Heißmeyer, Ibykusweg 6f, 30629 Hannover, Germany, email info@trackable.pro, phone +49 157 51477145 (“I”).

(3) These terms apply to consumers and businesses. A consumer is anyone who concludes a contract for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (Section 13 German Civil Code, BGB). Conflicting terms of businesses only apply if I expressly agree to them.

(1) Payment is handled by Link, a service of the Stripe group (“Link”). Link is the merchant of record for these purchases. Link collects the payment, issues invoices and receipts, accounts for sales tax and VAT, and handles questions about payments and refunds. On your statement, the payment shows with the prefix “LINK.COM*”.

(2) The payment process is additionally governed by Link's terms, which are shown to you at checkout. Your payment to Link discharges your payment obligation towards me.

(3) I provide the Clozo services. These terms govern the services, the term and cancellation, and your rights in case of defects. You can declare a withdrawal (section 10) to me, with the Withdraw from contract here function or through Link support; the same goes for refund requests.

3. Services

(1) Free of charge you get:

(2) Paid is:

(3) Allowances are counted in minutes: a minute is used when at least one caption is translated in it. Minutes without translation, for example during pauses, without captions or with translation switched off, do not count. Clozo translates your own speech only if you turn that on.

(4) Clozo builds on Google Meet's live captions. Whether and how well Meet creates captions, in particular whether the language set in Meet matches the language spoken, is up to Google. If Google changes the Google Meet page, Clozo may be limited for a while until I have adapted the extension. Translations are made by an AI model (Gemini via Google Cloud). They are machine-made, may contain mistakes and do not replace professional translation or interpreting; do not rely on them alone for legally, medically or financially important content.

(5) You need a current version of Google Chrome on a computer, an internet connection and Google Meet in the browser. Extensions do not work on Chrome's internal pages or in the Chrome Web Store.

(6) Clozo translates the captions of all participants. Please let the other participants know that you are using a translation tool, and do not use Clozo where this is not allowed or not wanted, for example in confidential conversations.

4. Availability and changes

(1) I strive for uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, outages at third-party providers or security reasons may temporarily interrupt features that need the Clozo server. Your rights under section 11 remain unaffected.

(2) Beyond the updates under section 11, I may change Clozo if there is a valid reason, for example new technology, changed offerings of third parties, security or legal requirements. The change costs you nothing extra, and I will inform you clearly and comprehensibly. If a change impairs your access or use more than insignificantly, I will inform you by email in good time beforehand. You can then terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days of this information or of the change, whichever is later (Section 327r BGB). I will refund amounts paid in advance for the time after that pro rata.

5. Conclusion of the contract

(1) The presentation of the plans on clozo.app and in the extension is not yet a binding offer.

(2) The purchase buttons (such as “Choose Pro”) take you to Link's checkout page. There you enter your email address and payment details. You can review and correct all details or cancel the purchase before submitting. By clicking the order button you make a binding offer.

(3) The contract is concluded when the payment is authorized and I unlock your plan. You see this right away on the confirmation page. You also receive the license key by email and a receipt from Link.

(4) The contract languages are English and German. I do not store the contract text separately for you. You can view, save and print these terms at any time at clozo.app/terms; your order details are in Link's receipt. I have not subscribed to any codes of conduct.

(5) These terms apply accordingly to free use, unless they only concern paid plans.

6. License key and devices

(1) There is no customer account. After buying you receive a license key. Your plan is active right away on the device you bought from.

(2) You can use the key on up to 3 installations at the same time, for example on different computers or Chrome profiles. The allowance is shared by all of them. You free up devices in the extension.

(3) The key is for your own use. You may not publish it, sell it or let third parties use it.

(4) Keep the key safe. If you lose it, Forgot your key sends a link to the email address used for the purchase, with which you create a new one. The old key then stops working; devices that are already unlocked stay active.

7. Prices and payment

(1) The prices shown on the checkout page before you buy apply. All prices are final prices including VAT. Depending on your country, Link shows the price in your local currency; the amount shown there applies.

(2) You pay for subscriptions in advance for each billing period (month or year), first at purchase and then at the start of each new period. You can choose from the payment methods Link offers on the checkout page.

(3) If a payment cannot be collected, Link will retry. Your plan keeps running until then. If the payment finally fails, the plan ends or is paused.

(4) Under “Manage subscription” you can switch between monthly and yearly billing. The difference is settled pro rata.

(5) I only change the price of a running subscription with your express consent. I will announce a change by email at least six weeks in advance. If you do not agree, your subscription continues at the previous price; I may then cancel it with one month’s notice to the end of a billing period.

8. Term and cancellation

(1) Monthly subscription: It runs for an indefinite period and is paid monthly in advance. You can cancel it at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month.

(2) Yearly subscription: The minimum term is one year. During the first year you can cancel at any time, effective at its end. If you do not cancel, the subscription continues for an indefinite period and is still paid yearly in advance. From then on you can cancel at any time with one month's notice; the subscription ends one month after your cancellation is received, at the latest with the paid year. I will refund the amount for the time after the end pro rata and automatically to your payment method.

(3) You can cancel a subscription:

(4) When your subscription ends, its services end too, including the monthly allowance. The free features stay available to you.

(5) I can cancel a subscription with one month's notice to the end of a billing period, a yearly subscription no earlier than the end of its first year. I will refund amounts paid in advance for the time after the end pro rata.

(6) The right of both parties to terminate without notice for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause exists for me in particular if you seriously breach section 9 despite a warning; in severe cases no warning is needed.

(7) You can end free use at any time by removing the extension. I may change or discontinue free offerings such as the daily free allowance for the future.

9. Rights of use and obligations

(1) For the duration of the contract you may use Clozo privately and professionally for your own purposes. This right is non-exclusive and non-transferable. All rights in Clozo remain with me or my licensors.

(2) The rights in content you use with Clozo remain with their owners; only use content you access lawfully.

(3) You may not

(4) If you breach these rules, I can block access to the paid features after a warning, in severe cases right away, or terminate the contract for good cause (section 8).

10. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the following right of withdrawal. I voluntarily grant it to businesses on the same terms.

The reimbursement is made through Link. The contract you withdraw from ends right away. I do not charge for the services used until then.

11. Defects and updates

(1) The statutory rights in case of defects apply; for consumers in particular the rules on digital products (Sections 327 et seq. BGB).

(2) As long as I provide Clozo to you, I supply the updates needed to keep it in conformity with the contract, including security updates. Chrome usually installs them automatically through the Chrome Web Store.

(3) The quickest way to report a defect is by email to info@trackable.pro.

12. Liability

(1) I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, for fraudulently concealed defects and where I have given a guarantee.

(2) In case of slight negligence, I am only liable if I breach an essential contractual obligation. That is an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. Liability is then limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable.

(3) For free use, outside of paragraph 1 I am only liable for intent and gross negligence.

(4) These rules also apply to people I engage to fulfil my obligations.

13. Data protection

How I handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

New contracts are governed by the version current at the time of purchase. I will announce changes for running contracts by email at least six weeks in advance; they only apply if you agree to them. Section 4(2) remains unaffected.

15. Dispute resolution and final provisions

(1) I am neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

(2) German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country where you have your habitual residence.

(3) If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Hannover.

(4) If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid; the statutory provision takes the place of the invalid one.

(5) These terms are available in German and English. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
